The purpose of this act is to stop investors buying real estate for the sole purpose of creating inflation and manipulation the economy to drive up housing prices.

    1. Each person or cooperation can only buy one of each type of public sector real estate
    2. Properties may not be held for value only, you must hire someone to manage properties you buy so that they can be of use to the general population. Example: If you buy a hotel, don't leave it empty, rent out rooms or hire someone to manage the hotel and rent out rooms.
    3. Properties may be held for a maximum of 1 week without needing to act on point 2.

I have to ask, what would happen if we go on a vacation or you are grounded for more than a week unexpectedly? Also, does that mean I can only buy one farm plot? Because I was just about to get a second one.

Good idea Red... I honestly hate it when I see that one person has bought like half a dozen apartments.

I mean, I understand that being the perfect child I am :P that I almost never get grounded, yet still my parents feel the need to punish me whenever I make a mistake! But yeah, I understand where you're coming from. Out of curiosity, will there eventually be the ability to buy "country plots" in which we live on the ground and can place whatever we want there? I would love that, or am I missing something here?

How on earth can I be a real estate agent if I can't buy multiple properties?

I currently have a lot of shops. The price is inflated because I cannot charge the price I want to charge due to the limitations of the SHOP. I paid 150 plus transaction fee for each. I had the option of charging 100 or 500. Nothing in between. If you ask anyone who has bothered to try to buy one they will tell you I actually charge 200 gc for each shop.

I will be more than happy to resell my shops to the government for the purchase price including the transaction fee plus interest of 33% compounded daily since the date of purchase.

The entire concept of long term real estate investment is based on holding property for return on expected long term value, are we deleting the career as well....

I stand with Lucent here but in a different sense. What am I going to do with just one farm? There are some days where I run out of stock entirely. I don't have enough room to be a lumberjack and farmer in just one. For me to make enough fruit to sell I need to use both levels of my farm. And even then I'm making 1/6 that of the vegetables.

My shop is almost completely filled up with corn shops because once again, I can't risk running out overnight with just one shop! To make a profit off the farming industry you need to sell a lot to a lot of people. If it weren't for the MGNC I've saved up I'd either be nowhere or in debt right now.

    What about shops?
In Eagle City, are people expected to only sell one kind of stuff, in one little shop? Or are we allowed to have more, to sell different kinds of things?

You can have multiple shops but each shop can only have one type of good.
The price issue is easily solved, try having two shops of 100 GC for a 200 price tag.

But part one says "Each person or cooperation can only buy one of each type of public sector real estate" therefore limiting us to one shop.
